 Teaching Math (Combining Shapes) through ICT.                                             Today, on 9th of November 2022, I taught math's in class III  on  the topic "Combining Shapes". I taught this lesson through the use of ICT and felt that the learning outcomes were achieved easily. The definitions of combining smaller shapes to get other  2D shapes was conveyed  clearly through the link shared in lesson plan. After the introduction of the lesson, the children were confused about the combinations of shapes. However, the confusion was cleared after they watched the content in YouTube. Therefore, the use of ICT is felt must in all the subjects to make our teaching and learning effective.

Connecting the text in real life situation through use of ICT. ICT in education improves engagement and knowledge retention:  When ICT is integrated into lessons, students become more engaged in their work. This is because technology provides different opportunities to make it more fun and enjoyable in terms of teaching the same things in different ways. Experts say that using technology in teaching and learning can increase children’s engagement in class, more than an old school textbook can as devices and apps are where today’s students live their lives. Students have a range of different abilities. Digital applications provide brilliant opportunities for making learning more effective. For example, technology allows students to learn at their own pace, either taking things slower or allowing them to go in to a topic in further depth. Like in my today’s lesson, it was easily taught how the birds like black necked cranes are danced, where is Phobjikha valley located...
  Teaching mathematic(Fractions)through the use of ICT    provides additional opportunities for learners to see and interact with mathematical concepts . Students can explore and make discoveries with various shapes and pictures. I found out that it is  one of the most effective tools to be used while teaching them the new concept of the content/topic. One excellent platform for teachers to make our learners think out of the box.   It  was also  found that the advantages of applying ICT in teaching mathematics are:  It attracts students' interest in learning mathematics;  it increases their motivation and performance;  it encourages lifelong learning;  and it facilitates positive interactions and relationships among themselves.
 Teaching HPE classes with ICT. The much awaited HPE class comes ones in a week for the kids. And it will  be quite tough taking children outside when the temperature reaches more than 38 degree Celsius. But with the use of  ICT, the HPE classes can be taken inside the class with the room temperature. And indeed the  work of a teacher becomes easier and the class becomes lively.

 Teaching Maths through use of ICT. Teaching mathematic topics like Creating Picto Graph and Bar Graph were quite interesting and easy through the use of ICT.  The learners enjoyed and was easier for them to get the concepts clearly . Unlike normal teaching  and  learning with the use of ICT learners were  found meaningfully  engrossed  in  all the activities assigned. They were also found actively participating as they could understand the concepts and ideas clearly.

  Use of ICT in the classroom and its benefits.  Technology provides immediate availability to information, which is why its presence in the classroom is so vital. Smart phones, computers and tablets are already an ever-present element of everyday life for students and teachers. It's only natural that the use of technological devices in the classroom are explored to create meaningful learning experiences for students specially the lower-class learners. Utilizing different types of technology in the classroom creates learners who are actively engaged with learning objectives. The implementation of technology also creates pathways for differentiated instruction to meet the unique needs of students as individual learners within classroom. We can have integration of technology      during whole-class instruction which can foster student engagement for auditory and visual learners.  Use of Google Classroom as communication tool to teach your lesson. I am teaching only the lower classes, I never used Google Classroom as a tool to teach my lesson but I used Social Media Apps like Telegram at the most and found out that this tool is accessible for even illiterate parents which made my lesson effective. This tool made my teaching easy as I could even conduct meeting through Telegram Video Chatting. Not only meeting, but I even could use this tool to teach by low achiever by having video conferencing, whereby I was able to show/explain by using diagrams.
